This position is physically located in one of the states in the Northwestern US market

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for developing and implementing sales tactics for increased sales and profits through dealers. Call on dealers, develop and coordinate sales presentations and ensure adequate sales service.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Develops expert knowledge of the Companys products and services.
• Aims to achieve profitable sales for the assigned region and products.
• Consults dealers regarding problems and renders technical assistance.
• Gathers information, conducts market research, and supplies regular reports on the findings.
• Communicates to management the actions of competitors in pricing, merchandising, sales, service and products.
• Identifies target accounts and markets and develops plan to penetrate those markets.
• Provides product and/or safety training to dealers.
• Exercises reasonable control over expenses incurred.
• Follows-up on slow collections among the accounts in the assigned region.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Must have a broad knowledge of products used in the construction and/or road building equipment industry. A Bachelors Degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field is required. Five years of experience in a similar capacity is preferred.
